The 57th edition of steirischer herbst takes place from 19.9. to 13.10. in Graz and Styria. It explores uncanny homelands, plays with national narratives, and makes a case for militant cosmopolitanism in this super election year.

Horror Patriae

The main exhibition Horror Patriae imagines an alternative museum of national complexes and dark fantasies at Neue Galerie Graz.
It opens on 19.9.24 and runs through 16.2.25. Performances, discussions, the herbst cabaret, and further events complete the program.

As usual, the festival is accompanied by ORF musikprotokoll, the literary festival Out of Joint, and a varied Partner Program. The complete program is published on 9.8.
