Between crises and optimism, Graz is moving through a decade of new beginnings.

What did it mean to dismantle old structures and implement reforms? What challenges did residents face, and how did they cope with crises? What was let go, and what was preserved? What still has an impact today?

Based on eleven places, the exhibition tells the story of life in Graz during the 1970s. It provides insights into the development of a city of 250,000 residents that found its place in the Austrian and international landscape.
