The media constantly tells us what’s happening in the world—about politics, power, and global events. But who actually shapes the (media) world? And how much does the news we consume shape the way we see reality? Could the media change the world—or are they already doing it, day by day?

Starting with literature, moving through memes all the way to social media, we take a closer look at how media mechanisms work. After analyzing them together, we put them into practice ourselves and use different media to build a world we might even like better. A hands-on workshop about media literacy and political agency.
