People are dying everywhere, and mostly for real … because of pandemics, climate catastrophes, war, hunger, terrorist attacks, drug epidemics, or the progressive dismantling of social and health services. Even in our more affluent climes, the numbers are on the rise. But every ending is also a beginning—wait a minute: if theater is our calling, perhaps we just need to rethink this calling and venture on a new path, choose a new undertaking: a funeral vocation?
