Daniel Lercher and Sabine Maier’s new project continues open music’s hybrid music project series, which was initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic and encourages new compositions and performances that are conceived in hybrid formats from the outset.
In zwischen licht und klang – das flüstern der formen, a reduced world in black and white creates a delicate, quiet experience by interweaving sound and light. The works of Lercher (sound) and Maier (visuals, projection) meet in the space where art is no longer explained but felt. Between the expansive installation and live performance, an environment is created that is absorbing rather than demanding. An invitation to disappear—into a field of vibration, shadow, and silence. A setting without noise, without direction. A performance without a frame, a happening without a center.
