For Higher Education

/ecm diskurs 62, Assembling and Disassembling. What is the function of Biennials and Festivals today?, talk
The educational program for higher-education institutions combines academic theory with curatorial practice. At its core is a sustained engagement with the festival’s themes. To this end, workshops, lectures, or tours are tailored to the specific needs of departments and courses or developed together. This creates opportunities for hands-on learning and a dialogue between science and art.
For specific research or academic projects, the continually growing festival archive is available. It includes an extensive media collection as well as a comprehensive press archive.
Together with the curatorial team, herbst education welcomes year-round inquiries for collaborations.
