Jason W. Moore
The Way Out of the Climate Crisis

Never has the impact of human existence on the environment been so urgent an issue as today. As global warming proceeds at unexpected speed, drastic climate change is already having a catastrophic effect on millions of lives. Last but not least, the coronavirus pandemic has been a wakeup call, not only showing how strongly lives might be affected, but also how governments might handle or fail to handle the pandemic by placing themselves on a war footing. In his talk, sociologist, climate researcher, and author Jason W. Moore offers proposals on how the climate movement and general populations can use the present emergency as a venue for collective action.
