Invitation

herbst Academy offers three international workshops for artists, theorists and students to reflect on this year's steirischer herbst leitmotif and on the art works on show at the festival. This year the workshops, which form the theoretical backbone, a kind of framework for the festival, are held by the artists Michael Esposito & Carl Michael von Hausswolff, the Israeli performance group Public Movement and the Dutch theatre makers Lotte van den Berg & Guido Kleene.

The workshops are limited to approx. 15 persons and the organisers will select the participants. The contribution towards expenses is for each workshop € 120. For each workshop there are 5 grants, which can be applied for. Registrants may participate in more than one of the events. The spoken language will be English (more information in the application form).
